Kaidy did a Foundation course in art and design in St. Albans. She then went on to secure a place to study at Chelsea College of Art.
Kaidy has painted professionally for 13 years and has sold her work to people here and abroad. Known for her expressive portraits and colourful paintings. She was selected by notonthehighstreet in 2010 to sell her pictures and prints.
Kaidy paints intuitively, collecting observations each and every day. In her studio the painting is a form of discovery. The interplay of light and contrast is mastered through brushwork, pattern and space to communicate something visually.
Her paintings and portraits are distinct and imaginative. The artists combines her art practice with a part time role for Canterbury Oast Trust. Here she leads ‘Art on the Farm’. A vibrant art project for adults with learning difficulties.
